Hi-Z High Pass Filter
This filter was designed to provide protection to
a preamp or receiver from high level A.M. broadcast frequency signals.
This filter is
fitted with 75-ohm type F connectors and will provide out of band attenuation as
seen in the chart below. Insertion loss is an average 2 dB in the pass band.
Attenuation is a nominal 30 dB at 1630 KHz and as can be seen, much more at
lower frequencies. The lower frequency corner is –3dB at 1.8 MHz
This filter is intended for receiving applications only and is not engineered for higher power transmitting purposes.
